DevMax,

in a democracy, opinions are not unwarranted.

If you have information that makes our conclusions wrong, they please make them available to the public so the "unwarrented" opinions can be corrected.

We are not party *political* but if you label our leanings *political*because we challenge the corrupt, patronage-ridden, small-minded political culture that holds Nova Scotia back, then yes, we do have political leanings, though not party political.

We’re just reading the story and seeing the holes in it, just like the rest of the lumpen proletariat of Nova Scotia.

No you're not.

You are drawing conclusions from the story in order to further your own political leanings. Your blog is not reporting the story, it is putting forward an opinion that is unwarranted.

DevMax,

We're just reading the story and seeing the holes in it, just like the rest of the lumpen proletariat of Nova Scotia.

If you have info that will help the Liberal party you should enter it into the public discussion, if you have the Liberal's best interests at heart.

Devin Max, if you can shed light on this then do tell because if you don't, then people will just draw their own conclusions.

Mistah M'cDonald, he dead.

It's time for Darrell Dexter and the NDP to fix Rodney's mess and lead Nova Scotia to an era of job growth instead of job cuts, of new hospitals and schools instead of a declining education quality and ER closures. Nova Scotians are sick of MacDonald and are no ready to be led by McNeil, who they hardly know.

Dexter is the best man for the job, and he'll get his day in the sun.

Wolfman, thanks for the shoutout

HClay, anyone with knowledge SEO and web analytics will tell you that hit number is not considered an accurate or reliable measure of a website's success. Waving numbers around like 1 million speaks to your lack of understanding of the medium and you naive triumphalism.

If your goal is to change attitudes about Nova Scotia, this goal should be measured scientifically by talking to people behind the hits and finding out exactly how the reached the site, what they thought about it, if they linked to the Come to Life site and how their attitudes have been influenced.

CBC did do a feature on this site, highlight this fact and talking about the fact that many of these hits resulted in ridicule and frustration over wasted taxpayer's money.

The ultimate test is getting people back to Nova Scotia and working in good jobs.

But if your aim is just to "Go viral" and not be accountable, then yes, you have been a raving success.

the near one million visits to the Pomegranate site seem to indicate that the campaign did indeed accomplish what it set out to - to get people thinking about Nova Scotia in a different way. Coverage across the continent via NPR, the CBC. Far wider reaching than the average ad campaign. Unfortunately your faux-accented commentary does little else but reinforce stereotypes. Keep it up, Duncey.
