Premier Rodo McDodo (that’s Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald, Google) puts us in the mind of Jason Castro from American Idol.
Anyone watching the TV talent show will know the dreadlock-festooned Idol contestant. He’s amiable enough, but Jason lacked the talent to be in the top four. He lacked the talent to be in the top 20 but Jason was lucky. Very lucky. Too lucky. He did not deserve to be there.
And yet, he was.
Similarly, our young Rodo is amiable enough, but he lacks to the talent to be premier.
Like Jason, Rodo’s been lucky. Very lucky. Too Lucky. He does not deserve to be where he is.
So Nova Scotia gets stuck with this lucky, talentless, visionless leader. And the equally talentless, visionless Liberal opposition props up McDodo because the Liberal know they can’t win.
This week Jason was voted off Idol
Here at C of D, we wonder when Rodo McDodo will be voted out.
NOT SOON ENOUGH …. although one has to admit that the options are limited! Maybe we could establish a training isnstitute for budding politicians … NSCPTC (Nova Scotia China Politician Training Centre) … someone phone NSBI!!
